Christ the King Parish

Mission Statement:
Our mission as the faith community of Christ the King parish is to grow in holiness by giving Christian witness to the world and a warm welcome to all. With joy and gratitude we practice Christian stewardship of God's gifts. We live out the rich tradition and spirituality of the Catholic faith by celebrating the Lord's presence in the Word and Sacraments, and by loving God in our neighbor.

We join with "God's own people" in the English speaking world as we begin to use the new translation of the Roman Missal for the celebration of the Most Holy Eucharist. For God's people, the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life. The Eucharist is the action of the whole church, and within this celebration, we, the royal priesthood of the baptized, offer to God ourselves, our lives and indeed the world in which we live as a spiritual sacrifice.
