Roman Catholic Parish
Mission Statement:
Our mission as the faith community of Christ the King parish is to grow in holiness
by giving Christian witness to the world and a warm welcome to all. With joy and
gratitude we practice Christian stewardship of God's gifts. We live out the rich
tradition and spirituality of the Catholic faith by celebrating the Lord's presence
in the Word and Sacraments, and by loving God in our neighbor.

"Hell grasped a corpse, and Lo! It discovered God!
Hell seized earth, and encountered heaven!
Hell took what it saw, and was overcome by what it could not see!
O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
Christ is risen, and you are cast down!
Christ is risen, and the demons are fallen!
Christ is risen, and the angels rejoice!
Christ is risen, and life is set free!
Christ is risen, and the tomb is emptied of its dead.
For Christ, having risen from the dead,
is become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
To Christ be glory and power forever and ever. Amen!" - From An Easter Homily By St. John Chrysostom
Wishing you and your families every Easter Blessing as we rejoice together throughout these 50 days!
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." - Matthew 28:19

the royal priesthood of the baptized, offer to God ourselves, our lives and indeed
the world in which we live as a spiritual sacrifice. This spiritual sacrifice, which
all of us offer together as one people in the Mass, is brought to completion through
the ministry of the ordained priest in union with the Sacrifice of Christ...
