Our Sacramental Life
Participation in the sacramental life of the church lies at the very heart of what it means to be part of a Catholic faith community. It is so important that, whenever possible,
the first steps of any of our members into this faith life are taken with the whole faith community present in the context of our usual Sunday Mass celebrations.
The following pages are meant to provide you with some valuable information regarding the hows, whys and whens of sacramental preparation (for both adults and children) at Christ the King.

city of Jerusalem toward which we journey as pilgrims, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God,

warriors of the heavenly army; venerating the memory of the saints, we hope for some part and fellowship
with them; we eagerly await the Saviour, Our Lord Jesus Christ, until He, our life, shall appear and we too
will appear with Him in glory."

Sacraments of Initiation for Children (Baptism, Confirmation, First Eucharist for ages 7 and up) - "The Sacraments of Christian Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist - lay
the foundations of every Christian life." (CCC 1212)
